LPC’s, LPC Associates, and LMFTs

We are currently seeking full and part-time LPCs, LMFTs, or LPC Associates to provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families. We are looking for highly motivated, optimistic counselors that thrive in a successful team atmosphere. Applicants should feel comfortable providing a variety of counseling theories, skills, and techniques while implementing therapeutic confrontation in a client based appropriate manner. Ability to work nights a must.

Responsibilities will include assessing and counseling clients with a wide range of issues. The ability to create a nurturing and nonjudgmental environment is essential to success as a therapist at Noyau Wellness. Applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.

Requirements:

• Must have Masters Degree

• Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors or Texas Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists

• Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations including the appropriate board

Rules and Ethical Guidelines

• Must maintain an “active” and “in good status” classification with the Texas LPC Board

• Must maintain detailed documentation and up to date files

• Must maintain personal malpractice insurance.

• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.

• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, and media.

• Must be able to formulate therapeutic questions designed to help clients view their subjective world with a healthier perspective.

• Must be able to help clients formulate goals and action plans for goal achievement.

• Must be comfortable with providing gentle and straight forward confrontation as appropriate to each client’s individual therapeutic needs

• The ability to offer unconditional positive regard to clients from all walks of life, regardless of personal feelings.

*Experience in private practice desired.

*2+ years of experience desired.

*Couples Counseling experience preferred
